first of all to count u need to practise... experience dealer will deal card's very fast.... i'm very fast(still didn't saw faster) so it is very hard if there is more players to even count them,but u still can if you exercise at home... about shuffling it is little difficul to explain.. Tomgun, the reason why most people end up losing is twofold: 1) the game is about 1/2% in favor of the house against a perfect player and 2) the casino's bankroll is HUGE, so a few short term losses do not matter, vs. a loss of $1000 for a table player may be devastating. And Macdizz, you couldn't be more wrong. Not hitting your 12 vs a dealer nine is suicide. I'm not talking from my own observation but millions of simulated blackjack hands prove it.

this isnt really very good advice. at the end when he says you should hit on 12 vs a dealer 9? in that situation your pretty much fucked either way. its best to hope for dealer bust because really the only card that would help you is an 8 or a 9. if you get a picture you go bust and if you take a card and its not an 8 or 9 youre TAKING the dealer bust card. if the dealer takes a picture you were fucked anyway but if dealer takes a 7 or less you have just saved your ass

You always split 8s. Period. Blackjack isn't a game of psychology. It's straight mathematics. Fail to follow that, and you will lose in the long run. It really is that simple. How others play their hand does NOT affect your odds one bit because no one knows what the pattern/flow of the cards are until they're dealt! The reason why they "hide" the cards is because they're dealing a 1-2 deck game. The shoe games (3-8 decks) deal them face up because it speeds up the game and minimizes the chances of cheating. Why are they hiding the cards? I've played this in 5 different countries and never seen that, its a waste of time it looks like to me, and you are supposed to be playing as a team in a sense to beat the dealer, if you knew the guy to your left has a 5 and a 6, you are more inclined not to hit and bust on your shitty 14 or 15 and he might get the 10.

if the dealer has a 7 and u got 15 and u got only basic strategy u don't hit, but if you know te deck is cold u will proly hit and get a 17-21 NOW you win almost 4 shure. it's all about makeng the odds as much as possible on your favor. i can ashure you you will sometimes double with a 10 with a hot deck get a 20 and the dealer will hit a 21 with low cards. if that happens twice your bet next round cuz the count will have not changed very much so you still got the upper hand.

HOWEVER, imagine that you had more money bet when you won, and less money bet when you lost. Obviously, even if you lost more hands, you could turn a profit. This is the idea of counting. If your blackjacks occur when you have more money in, you will come out ahead in the long run, and that is more likely to happen with more T,J,Q,Ks and aces in the deck. You will win and lose like everyone else, but gain more than you lose, especially if you have a strict betting and counting regiment.

Okay, your one advantage in BJ is that if you get a blackjack, you get 1.5 on your money, even though the dealer doesn't get 1.5 of your money (only 1, aka, your bet). ...so, the dealer has an advantage if there are more Ts and As in the deck, because the odds of a blackjack are greater. You expect to win or push roughly 48 or 49 out of 100 hands statistically, meaning just playing perfect basic strategy, you will bleed money in the long run...

I can barely understand what you are asking, but I will try to explain. A successful card counter is absolutely NOT interested in short term gain. On any given hand, shoe, or even trip to the casino,, the cards can be very bad and even the best of counters can lose. The point is to turn that 1% edge that the casino has into an edge for the player, and by playing many hands with that edge so that you see a profit.

people that dont understand that card counting works almost the the point were it could be called fact. but misunderstand what it is. all your doing it betting higher when you have a higher probability to win not memorizing the cards so you know for sure. and useing proper betting strategy when raising your not making huge money if everything is being done right expect 1% GAIN. but you win some you loose some as always its a long term strategy not short term.
